“What’s your sister’s name?”

Beautiful cherries given by Watson, from Venice.
“Just curious, what is your sister’s name? You are Cherry and she must be _______.”
Make a guess.
People always ask me this question, and also give me the same “fill-in-the-blank”.
The only “special” and “unique” name for my sister that I could think of was back in our synchronised swimming days.
My sister and I were in the state synchronised swimming team. When we first joined the team, our instructors remembered my name very well but always couldn’t remember hers sometimes. To make their “lives” easier, they called her “Blossom” instead.
The rationale is simple: Cherry Blossom. Cherry…and…Blossom!
My sister and I did double before and it was easy for them to address us. “Cherry and Blossom!! Count your beat!!”
Those were tough days for us. We had to attend trainings 4 days a week, from evening till night. We started off with a set of warm-up: Running, swimming, “egg-beater”, stretching, splitting our legs and etc. After 2 hours of warm-up, then we went back to do our synchronised routines. Tough. We were always exhausted after training and had a good night sleep.
Sigh…I was young and energetic then. Don’t think I could go back to my synchronised routine ever again.
