Update: The coffee shop lingo in Singlish
“Seow Pak hu” (fighting fish): Longan drink < –Provided by Tubak
Why “fighting fish” ah? Longan doesn’t look like fighting fish at all!! Can anyone explain?

haha I saw my nickname!
It is because in old times the kopitiam uncle kind of marinate the drink by putting longan and water in glass bottle which exactly the same as the one they used to store fighting fish.
So, make sure you don’t order one from coffee shop next to aqua petshop!
