The ‘side effects’ of make-up
I have been following the Malaysian reality show – Malaysia’s Most Beautiful since it first aired.
Yesterday episode was an interesting one. It shows how insecure a lady can be without wearing make-up. I think the longer you wear, the more insecure you are. The finalists had to ‘strip bare’ to do their last photo shooting. Jessy broke down because of her scar. She did not feel good ‘baring’ her scar to the public.
Worse still, they magnified her picture and her scar has actually become the focus and the main attention of her portrait. So bad…
And why did this lady (a celebrity…who cares?) pretended to be her fan, and went ga-ga over her..and trying to make fun of her. And guess what, the best thing was Jessy ‘dumped’ her instantly when she saw Amber Chia. Then this so-called celebrity was so upset because before the appearance of Amber Chia, they were like a pair of chopsticks – inseparable. Hah! Who asked you to pretend to be her fan first? You meanie! And that was so unfair while Dillia didn’t get the same ‘treatment’.
Why only Jessy get the ‘fake’ fan? If the host wanted a fake fan to serve whatever purpose they want to, be fair and have 2 ‘fake’ fans instead.
This game show is so mean. The 3 finalists were dressed up like princesses and were told to attend a gala with other celebrities. They had their hair done, facial, special chosen gown that catered to each individual… But when they showed up (right at the entrance to the ballroom, the host announced that only 2 finalists can proceed instead of 3 (based on the public’s votes).
I was not surprised to see the lady broke down when she was eliminated. Man ….whoever who planned this, su*ks big time! What’s wrong of having the elimination after the gala? Another example which got many people to talk about – the episode last week where the host brought back 2 wild cards. We thought the 2 wild cards (I mean they were very good wild cards) will stay in the game.
But in less than 30 minutes, the other wild card was voted out, AGAIN, by the finalists (the judge had no say in this). And again, the girl who was being ‘kicked out’ again broke down with smudged mascara. The judge, if they believed so much that she was the best, why not have their says and let her stay?
Why had her packing her stuff to the hotel and made her leave just like that? Grr…. My mom called me after the show and complained to me the same thing…ahahah I didn’t know she was hooked by this show too.
