In my class…asking my student a random question.

Me: How tall are you actually?

Him: Mm..182 cm.

Me: Wow..that’s very tall! You know, I have a thought many years ago. Do you think taller guys see objects on the ground smaller than those who are shorter?

Him: Huh??

Me: I mean, when you’re short, your vision is nearer to the floor and hence, the object seems bigger.

So as compared to the person whose height is 190 cm, don’t you think he would find the object ‘looks’ smaller from the ground?

Him: Wah cher….may be it is just like 0.05% different only lor..

Me: But still, there may be a difference there, don’t you think? When you were a toddler, everything looks relatively huge to you, right?

Had dinner with Sean in the evening. A random thought came to me again.

Me: You know, sometimes people complain about having choices.

Sean: Yeah, but too many choices are also no good.

Me: How MANY is MANY? I think when you can’t choose, even 2 choices is considered MANY.

In contrast, even though you have 100 choices but you already knew what to choose, you become “no-choice” because all the other choices are “not applicable” to you anymore. Contradicting huh?

Sometimes I wonder why and how I think of all these OH-SO-RANDOM thoughts. -_-
