Received her sms at 5pm.

“When u reach home? Want to cook rice first? Can you pls on d gas with low fire? thx. Me still need awhile.”

My first reaction was…“WAHH!!! Finally, I will finish my work before she does! I will be home before her!!”

My mom has volunteered herself at my church community centre under the eldery service. She delivers meals to the eldery residents around the church. I am happy for her…at least there is something to keep her busy.

I feel bad when I am so busy with work and do not spend time with her when she visits me.

Hopefully, she will find her new purpose in life.

On a side note, did some experimental artwork at home for fun. This “accidental” piece tickled us real bad.

We couldn’t stop laughing. Mom said:”Why don’t you rotate it? May be it looks better upside down?”

Mom…you’re not helping at all..
