After a month of hard work, trainings, debugging and countless meetings, my project was finally launched yesterday!

When I put my project live on Wednesday evening, my mobile phone did not stop ringing and I was so worried that my project did not go well. Luckily, the phone calls came in just to congratulate me on the project. Man…

So I came in to work on Thursday morning as usual. But what I didn’t know was the response people get from my project.Emails flowing in with compliments and feedbacks. When I was so focused on reading the emails, my managing director came from no where and showed me the SMS he received on how great the project has been. We were both ecstatic.

There was only a line that kept appearing in my head : "Celebrate this moment, Cherry. Today, all the lights of the hanamachi burn for you." Hahaha…sounds familiar?

In case you still can’t catch it, watch the Memoirs of Geisha then. I love this line. All the staff
had a meeting with my MD at 10 am to be briefed on the company mission. My MD compliments on the project again and my tear was almost rolling out from eyes. Thousands of thoughts came to my mind in a split second.

I have learned so much from managing this project. There were so many ups and downs but I am really grateful that I have a great team that supported and helped me a lot. My models have been very great too. Hah! Most of them did’t know that the models were actually our employees…so does the photographer *wink* And I have certainly learned a lot in communicating with people from different departments and worlds: very technical and non
technical people. Hahahahah..

This morning, my MD sent me another SMS to congratulate me…how sweet…I am very blessed and grateful that he gave me this opportunity. *Thank god*

11:41am: It has been a very emotional day. Looking at my desk and my ‘neighbours’, making me feel so sad of leaving all these behind me.

When I was doing the ‘hand-over’, I felt like I was giving my babies away. It’s the first time I feel so free and I have ZERO assignments. Very weird…I am still trying to look for something to do..may be I should go to the operation department to ask for small tasks..Em…
