Went to buy groceries this morning and the asian shops were all packed! I guess everyone was busy shopping for chinese new year. There were chinese new year ornaments hanging around the shop and that, made me realised that the chinese new year is around the corner. You know what? I actually forgot about chinese new year co’s no where on the street remind me of chinese new year!

This is my very first time (ever) for not being able to celebrate new year with my family. I suddenly felt that I have missed out so many things…No annoying chinese new year ‘tong tong qiang’ songs, no hoo-haa-ing about chinese new year, no chinese new year ornaments can be seen on the street, no new year hampers and goodies…and worse still..no new year confectionary! Er..actually the worst is..NO ANG POW!!! Oh gosh..this is SO upsetting..
