This is my project. MY PLANE.

Yeah..I wish. Only if I have SGD150,000 to spend and have gotten my flying license. -_-

(By the way, this “plane” belongs to a couple. Their “little weekend project”. How NICE!)

As for now, I will stick to the little “EVE” first. Small but “FIERCE”!

Just nice for 2 person.

EVE was born in Australia but has surrendered her citizenship to Malaysia.

That means, if I would to land her anywhere in Malaysia, I don’t have to pay a cent for parking and landing. That set me to my dream mode again. I WOULD LOVE TO FLY TO PENANG ONE DAY!! BY MYSELF!

Let’s see..
Eve travels 150 knots (275.2 km/h).
Distance from Singapore to Penang: 600 kilometers.
Eve burns 15 litres of fuel per hour.

Mm….Come and think of it, may be it is better to take Singapore Airlines. :)

Before we fly, we must check most of the nuts and bolts, making sure that they were in place. Checked propeller, fuel, wings etc etc.

The pilot and trainer. (he made me his Captain that day *grin*). Checking fuel if there was sediment.

Finally…

The sea looked so much blu-er from top.

After the “high speed climbing” (twice!!) and a FREE FALL I felt like I wanted to throw up. (I blame it on lacking of sleep, I only had 4 hours of sleep that night). I had to ask my trainer to land asap.

Actually, civil flying has become more common. It is OK NOT to have a perfect vision. Many people have discouraged me from learning to fly in the past (eg. Female becoming a pilot is a taboo, lousy eyes etc). But after my lesson, I felt that it is indeed achievable! Of course I need to study aeronautical science and clock more training hours in order to get the flying license.

Can’t wait for my next lesson man…
