Yup, you heard me right, an AUDITION! It was something that I have never expected to take part in. Futhermore,
it was a Mission Impossible 3 Audition.

Alright, it happened like this. My mom and I took a stroll at Orchard Road today and we came to Cineleisure Cathay
for a quick window shopping. As we entered the complex, we saw this little small shelter covered with black fabrics with MI3 posters all around and a paper written "Audition in Process".

And we also heard guys shouting ‘FIRE’, followed by gun shooting sound etc. Wow..A little shelter which hardly fits 4 people in it can be so happening and full of actions!

As we were wondering what monkey business was, a friendly guy approached me and said I could win a chance to Rome for the premiere. Wow…premiere! Gala…gown…TOM CRUISE! I was told that I had to do a role play as Maggie Q. Well, my mom asked me to try just for fun and because I was so bored at that time, I agreed and filled in my particulars. Not many people queueing but it was certainly a couple contest. Ya ya, I didn’t have a TOM CRUISE.. Just me while others came with their boyfriends.

And what happened for the next 30 minutes were totally INSANE! I was dressed with (not the exact one as shown):

To be frank, I never thought it could be so hard. I thought it was being spontaneous and posing but I just didn’t expect to scream ‘fire!’ and did the ‘shooting’ in a small shelter like THIS. Trust me, it was very small and I found having 3 people in there was already suffocating. I put the sunnies on my head, held my gun like Maggie Q and was ready to rock! There was a camera man holding his huge machine just inches away from my face. Then a very nice lady who told me what to say. She expected me to literally ‘speak’ my lungs out because the complex was very noisy. I had a few NGs because it was so HARD! Needless to say, I didn’t follow the lines and I just speak whatever that came to my mind. For example, one of the lines that went like this:
Tom: Agent Cherry, you looked hot in this outfit!
Me: Ya I know, as always..

You probably can figure out that isn’t supposed to be my line.. But anyway…

When I was half way through…I saw people looking from the top. Ah…this stupid shelter didn’t have a roof. I don’t think it should be called shelter after all. Did a few firings and my face was hot and red like cherry. *Very awkward* After a few firings , I was asked to do a ‘sexy and dangerous’ pose. I went blank..totally stunned! Oh no!! I need a reference!

When I finished my ‘audition’, I dashed out from the ‘shelter’ looking for my mom. Like a small kid looking for her mom for comfort. I still can’t put myself together after quite awhile. And my mom was complaining that I didn’t ask her to go to the 2nd floor so she can watch me from the top. Hahaha….what a shame! Otherwise she could help me to take some pictures. You know, not every day you get to dress up like a top secret agent. And not every shopping trip ends up in auditioning as well. It was a thrilling and fun experience. I don’t really care if I win or not. Anyway, they only send couples to Rome. =(
