"Take a look at the ordinary
Don’t need to look at Paradise
You could be next to
an angel in disguise" – Corrinne May

It was a day that I have angels gathered around me. Beautiful friendship, the unconditional love of a mother and innocent and carefree children.

My first time at Singapore beach.
Pasir Ris. Er..the beach was a bit..er..dissapointing though.

I was invited by my colleague to attend her class bbq at Pasir Ris. Although it was drizzling throughout the evening but I had so much fun! I was so entertained by her 2 beautiful and angelic kids. They were so lovely that I can’t keep my eyes off them. We talked, we played sand and ball, we sang…Ahh…it was wonderful! When their little warm hands held mine, I can feel my heart melted with warmth glowing inside my heart. We talked about power puff girl, and I have learnt a new story character called ‘Zucchini in bikini’ from the little boy. They both have the longest eyelashes I have ever seen. Even the fake one doesn’t even come close to theirs! Wow…makes me feel like having my own kids now.

Aren’t they adorable!!

One thing about them was, they were so honest about their feelings. Sometimes I wish we can be like that forever. Both of them told me that they liked me and I was…so…HAPPY and TOUCHED! If we can be so frank like them, man…imagine how happy we have made others. They even told their mommy that they wanted to take me home. Aww….:)

My colleague has a student who has muscular dystrophy since young. He is on his wheel chair all the time. His mother accompanies him to school and even to class everyday. She helps him in writing sometimes and feeds him as well. When people joked that his mother should get the same diploma as him, he said his mom deserves a diploma in childcare instead. How touching!!! His mom even prepared so many food for the bbq.

His classmates were very helpful and caring. He has a neighbour (a teen girl) who takes care of him very well. She follows him almost everywhere he goes. When I saw her putting glasses on his face…I was so deeply touched. In fact, I met them during their O level result release 3 months ago. Never thought he enrolled in the same diploma too. Fate…
