Some people think I am weird. But I prefer to be called as ‘distinctive sharp taste’. According to them, I am ‘distinctive’ because,
- As a girl, I am supposed to love SHOPPING. But, I don’t like shopping simply because 1) I don’t see the reason of walking up and down looking for something that I don’t even know what I need. I usually have something in mind and go straight to the shop to get it.2) I can hardly find what I like. I like shoes which are distinctive from other design that you can see from every shop. I look at the shapes, heels, comfort etc. (I have sensitive feet) Clothing wise, well, I don’t like to follow the trend and thus, it is not easy to find what I want. If I can’t find the design I like in this shop, it is likely that other shops have the same design too.
- I don’t like to wear makeup. First, because I am too lazy to ‘paint’ my face when I still don’t need to. (unless one day when I aged, probably I will see the necessity to wear makeup). But I will still wear make up for special occasions when my mom insisted me to do so.
- I was born in Penang but I can’t speak hokkien nor knowing where to eat the best hawker food.
- When I have chicken rice, I eat only the rice, not the chicken.
- I don’t eat banana but I eat banana fritter (goreng pisang) and banana cake.
- I don’t drink coke and coffee because they will drive me crazy and hyperactive.
- I like guys with glasses *blush* Of course it is not a must..
My dream job is to become a food or restaurant critique. I enjoy food so much that I don’t mind the travelling, as long as I can get good
food. My purposes to travel, besides the culture and people, is FOOD! I love travelling, but haven’t really been to many places. So far, my
favourite country is Japan. I love the culture, people, food and shopping. I don’t like shopping usually but shopping in Japan is awesome! Needless to say, skiing is fun + awesome. I definitely want to go for skiing again. (sweet sweeeet….)
Music? I love spanish, brazilian, oldies, jazz, blues and classical. Favourite bands/singers are Lisa Ono, Trio Los Panchos, Diana Krall, Julie
London and Nat King Cole.
Cooking? Oh..sweet…Not
a good cook though (do’h!!). I love cooking and am still learning from the
experts (Jamie Oliver, Kylie Kwong….sweeeet). I love making potato, caulifower bake (very cheesy)
and desserts. I will post some of the recipes that I have tried.
