A date with spongebob squarepants!
I saw an advertisement about spongebob musical on the tv one day and I was totally transformed into a 5 years old kid.
And exactly 1 year ago, I traveled all the way to Sentosa just to see spongebob and patrick too. That shows how much I LOVE spongebob.
2 from my collection. Got them from Singapore airlines. I have collected them all! That’s why I love SQ so much.

And so, just when I went ga-ga over the spongebob musical, a friend of mine was also keen. Whenever I told my friends and even my students that I was going to watch the musical, they burst into laughters without fail.
So two 5-years-old wannabes went to expo for the muscial. For your information, the ticket wasn’t cheap. It was 50 dollars!!!
The entrance. I had tonnes of these.

The stage, before the show starts.

Too bad….no photography allowed during the show.
I would say the whole experience was very unique. I used to watch symphony orchestras and plays but none of them has the same experience as this one. There were so many kids and it seemed as if we were the only adults there. (Ok, the parents not counted).
Like this little cute audience who sat beside me. Her mother was feeding her porridge throughout the show. Then there were kids and parents leaving the seats constantly for toilet break, snack break or whatever break it was. It . was . just . too . CUTE!
The kids sang the theme song along with the pirate and I did too! Not every single word though.
After the show, my heart just beamed with a warm, iridescent glow. I guess the 50 dollars ticket was really worth it.

I can’t believe you spent $50 on each ticket to watch some sponge dance about on a stage.
But I’m sure the company was worth it. Lalalalalala

There are people who would pay countless amounts of money to customise their online avatars (cough MapleSEA cough). So… it’s all about preference. =P
