7 deadly sins
First day of school after Easter holiday. I was an early bird this morning, reached school at 7:50a.m (my class started at 9 a.m). Went to the library to look for some books but surprisingly, the library was still closed! It was the first time going to library before the library is opened. Cool.. The coolest thing was, there were more than 50 people waiting outside the library. Almost 30 of them standing and the rest sitting at the cafe (cafe was not opened at that time). When the librarian opened the gate, everybody rushed in. I felt so excited as this was the first time I was the first batch of people walked into the library! Well, didn’t expect there were so many early birds every morning…
After 1 sq m project, I have another project coming up which is about the 7 deadly sins. We have to ‘create a multi-dimensional self potrait illustrating one of the seven deadly sins. Self potrait must be developed through an experimental multimedia work, produced in Flash or Director.’(Extracted from my brief)
For those who have no idea what 7 deadly sins are…take a look
* Pride- is excessive belief in one’s own abilities, that interferes with the individual’s recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.
* Envy – is the desire for others’ traits, status, abilities, or situation.
* Gluttony – is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
* Lust -is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
* Anger – is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.
* Greed – is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.
* Sloth – is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.
I have no idea which sin to choose especially I have to use my own pictures to express how ‘sinful’ I am…*gosh*
