I missed my family so much and when I heard that mom visited my sister in KL, I spontaneously planned a trip down to meet them. My sister just happened to host a fashion show that I didn’t want to miss the chance to be there. She has been actively involved in event planning and choreography but I didn’t know that now she is also teaching cat walk to her team members. Mmm…
Took a super VIP bus down to KL. I can’t stand coach without personal TV if it is a long journey. The bus was huge and the seat was a snoozer seat! That means I can lie down ‘flat’ on the seat.
My sister picked me up from a shopping mall at Starhill and after a brief lunch, we headed to her client’s shop to try out her event outfit – cheongsum. I love cheongsum and my grandma made 2 cheongsums for me many years ago.
One day before the fashion show (saturday), the rehearsal at Ikano Power Centre. There she is, coaching her team mate to ‘pose’.

On Sunday morning – helping her to prepare her scripts. Did you notice that we both sat the same way??
Sister sister. She has just moved into a new place. It is quite spacious and had a huge swimming pool. Mom was busy helping her to settle down – buying furniture, household goods and kitchen appliances. And it is her second time helping us in a year. First, it was me, and now it was her turn. My mom is forever busy. Isn’t it cool that both of us own a place to stay??? Seriously….NOT!

On Sunday afternoon, and mom and I were so stressed for her. Seeing her rushing and organizing stuff made me realised that my little sister has grown up. No more winding like small kid.
At the back stage.

This is her. The MC of the day. I was actually the makeup artist of the day! Can you believe that? A makeup artist who doesn’t put on makeup for more than 10 times is her life. I was surprised that I actually did a good job!! Ah well…

The show featured contemporary chinese traditional costumes. They were all so colourful and enticing.

The show was indeed a success. I didn’t get to stay for the second show in the evening because I was rushing back to Singapore. Otherwise, I would be one of the models wearing these beautiful cheongsums on the runway.
