Attended another wedding dinner….my colleague’s. I guess, now I am the only one in the department who is still single. Mm…
It is so cute that there was a guy holding a bubble blowing machine at the back of the couple as they walked!
Ahh..how romantic!

Most of our colleagues turned up and I was sitting next to her bride’s maid. It was funny that I was seated to the best man last month and this time, I was seated with the bride’s maid. She was so kind and sweet and we chatted like buddies even though we only knew each other for less than 10 minutes. Both of us were single and thus, lots to talk about since everyone else at the table were married. Hah!
The wedding was sweet and warm. Too bad that they kept pushing out new dishes because as usual, the dinner started very late and they had to pack up before 11. This is what I can never understand. Chinese wedding reception is always 1 or worse, 2 hours later than the time printed on the invitation card. No wonder people always arrive late because they all know that the reception wouldn’t start for another hour.
Then there will always people (like me) constantly complain about being starve to death. The experienced one will have a quick bite before going to the dinner.
After all, it was fun! I had 3 glasses of red wine….*blush* and was extremely happy!
Watched the couple’s video taken in the morning. I can’t believe the couple (fully dressed up) and their maids took a mrt to expo!! They sure caught people’s attention along the way. What a cute couple!
Ok..the SPG part, I left with my scottish colleague because we were staying at the same suburb. As we were walking out of the hotel, people at the bar were looking at us as if we were dating. We caught lots of attention along the way and had people listening to what we talked. When we were talking in the train, we caught people constantly checking us out and listening to our conversation, too. Then my colleague joked that if he puts his hand on my shoulder, people will definitely drop their eye balls… Oh..come’on! Plus, he was holding 2 burberry shopping bags (for his wife’s birthday) and people sure think I am a typical materialistic sarong party girl.
This morning, my colleagues joked that my reputation had washed down to the drain for the day. Man….
